Salon Software — appointments, stylists and billing without the diary

Book a guest, put them with a stylist, bill the service and the products used — and know what each stylist brought in.

Appointment — Priya
Stylist Divya
Status In Service
Hair spa ₹ 1,200
Haircut & styling ₹ 600
Products used (stock) ₹ 250
Subtotal ₹ 2,050
GST 18% ₹ 369
Guest pays ₹ 2,419

Products used come off the shelf count as they are billed.

It already speaks salon

No workarounds, no "use the discount field for that". The words on your bill are the words in the software.

Appointment

A booking with a guest and a stylist — not an invoice waiting to be raised.

Guest

Your customer, with their history of what they took and who did it.

Service menu

Your list of services and packages with their rates, in one place.

Stylist

Who performed the service, so earnings and popularity are both visible.

Products used

Colour, cream and consumables drawn from your own stock as they are used.

Earnings

What each stylist brought in across the appointments they handled.

The appointment diary is doing too much work

A paper diary can hold bookings. It cannot tell you what a guest usually takes, what a stylist earned, or what product you are about to run out of.

Appointment diary

The diary holds today's bookings and nothing else — no guest history, no stylist earnings, no product count.

Vinfoz

An appointment carries the guest, the stylist, the services, the products used and the payment, so all of it is one record.

Appointment diary

A regular guest walks in and nobody remembers what colour or treatment they took last time.

Vinfoz

Each guest carries their history — what they took, who did it and what it cost — so the answer is on screen.

Appointment diary

Colour and consumables get used freely and stock is discovered to be empty at the worst possible moment.

Vinfoz

Products used on a guest come off your stock as they are billed, so what you have on the shelf is what the system says.

Appointment diary

Stylist earnings are worked out at month end from a diary, which is slow and always slightly wrong.

Vinfoz

Work is recorded per stylist as it happens, so earnings are already there when it is time to pay.

Everything a salon or spa runs on

Billing, stock, customers and accounts — one system, not four.

Appointments

Book a guest in, move them to in-service and completed. Deliberately short — a salon does not need a six-stage workflow.

Guest history

Every guest carries what they took, who did it and what it cost, so a regular never has to explain themselves twice.

Your service menu

Services and packages with their own rates, kept in one place instead of in everyone's head.

Stylist assignment

Put the appointment on a stylist, and see who is busy and who is free.

Products from stock

Colour, cream and consumables used on a guest come off your inventory as they are billed.

Stylist earnings

What each stylist brought in across their appointments, tracked as work happens and settled properly.

Quick billing

Bill services and retail products together on one clean GST invoice, at the counter, fast.

Payments and dues

What was charged, what was received and anything still owed — per guest.

What is working

Order summary, outstanding and profit reports so you can see your best services and busiest stylists.

Real double-entry books

Every service, product and payment posts to a proper ledger your auditor can follow.

Works at the counter

The Vinfoz Tap app runs appointments and billing on a phone or tablet on the same live data.

More than one branch

Separate appointments, stock and cash per branch, with a view across all of them.

One guest, booking to bill

Short and quick — the way a salon actually runs.

STEP 1

Book

Take the booking against the guest and put it with a stylist.

STEP 2

Seat

Move the appointment to in-service when the guest sits down.

STEP 3

Serve

Add the services performed and any products used from the service menu.

STEP 4

Bill

One invoice for services and retail together, taken at the counter.

STEP 5

Credit it

The stylist's earnings update as the appointment closes — nothing to reconstruct later.

Salon Software — questions

Can I keep guest history?

Yes. Each guest carries the appointments they have had — the services taken, the stylist who did them and what was paid — so a returning guest never has to explain what they usually get.

Can I see what each stylist earned?

Yes. Appointments are assigned per stylist and their earnings accumulate as the work happens, so at pay time the figure is already there rather than being rebuilt from a diary.

Do products used on a guest come off my stock?

Yes. Colour, cream and consumables are drawn from your item master as they are billed, so shelf stock and the system agree.

Can I bill services and retail products on one bill?

Yes. Services performed and any retail products sold go onto a single GST invoice at the counter, so the guest pays once.

Is the appointment flow quick?

Yes, deliberately. The salon template uses a short flow — booked, in service, completed — rather than the longer workflows used for repairs or projects, because a salon counter has no time for extra steps.

Can I run more than one branch?

Yes. Each branch keeps its own appointments, stock and cash, with a consolidated view across all of them.

Does it work on a tablet at the counter?

Yes. The Vinfoz Tap app on Android and iOS runs appointments and billing on the same live data as the desktop.

What does it cost?

Vinfoz starts at ₹6 per day and you can start free — see the pricing page for the plan that suits a salon.
